Quincy Driver, Child Killed In Chelmsford Crash
CHELMSFORD (CBS) --- A single-car crash killed a Quincy man and a little girl, early Sunday.
Police say the driver of the 2004 Toyota Camry was traveling on 495 south, when it veered to the right, crossed over a raised island that separates the highway from the entrance to the Chelmsford rest area, continued through the grass and hit a metal guardrail.
Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
State police identified the driver as Han Van Hoang, 43, of Quincy. The 3-year-old girl, who was belted into a car seat, has not yet been identified.
No other cars were involved.
