'Baby Safe Haven' Signs Installed In Dorchester Near Where Newborn Was Left In Trash
BOSTON (CBS) – New reminders of the state's Baby Safe Haven act are going up around Boston.
The signs remind parents they can legally surrender a newborn up to seven days-old at a hospital, fire or police station, no-questions-asked.
Many of the signs were put in the Dorchester area near where a baby was found in a trash can last week.
That mother is now charged with attempted murder.
