Garbage Truck Driver Trapped By Downed Wires In Dedham
DEDHAM (CBS) -- The driver of a garbage truck became trapped after he hit a pole, bringing live power lines down onto his truck Tuesday morning.
The truck struck a utility pole and transformer on Eastbrook Road in Dedham shortly after 5 a.m.
Eversource had to be called to cut the power.
The driver was rescued around 6:20 a.m., and was not injured.
Clean Harbors was also called to contain fluid that leaked out of the transformer.
