Daily Talker: Rejection Letter From DAD Savings And Loan
We've probably all done it. Asked our parents for money. And parents have no doubt had to tell their children no plenty of times. But, one father's response is making the rounds. His 6-year-old son asked for an advance on his allowance to buy a toy. Instead of just saying no, the father had a little fun, writing him a rejection letter from DAD Savings and Loan. In it he writes, "We regret to inform you at this time that we are unable to provide a loan in the amount requested of $20. After reviewing your account, we have found you have insufficient funds, and a history of not doing your chores… If you would like to refute this decision, you can contact our complaint department (aka Mom)." By the way, the DAD Savings and Loan slogan is "Because apparently I look like I'm made of money."
What do you think about this dad's letter? Funny or mean?
