Daily Talker: Confession On The Go

If you've been to church recently, your priest has probably urged you to go to confession during the Lenten season. If you think you don't have time for confession, think again. One priest is bringing confession to people on the go with his Mercy Bus. Father Frankie Mulgrew will be driving the bus around his diocese in northern England throughout Lent. Pope Francis himself praised the idea and even blessed photos of the Mercy Bus. Fr. Mulgrew said he was inspired by the Pope, who as a Cardinal in Argentina tried to bring religion to the people. One Bishop said the Mercy Bus is a "way of reaching out to people who might not otherwise have contact with the Church… We are going to them, rather than expecting them to come to us." What do you think of this idea?
