Crawford Set For Rehab Assignment With PawSox

BOSTON (CBS) - While the Boston Red Sox open a three-game set with the Rays in St. Petersburg on Friday, outfielder Carl Crawford will begin a rehab assignment in Pawtucket.

Crawford, out since July 18 with a left hamstring strain, will play with the Pawtucket Red Sox Friday and Saturday. The Sox left fielder will start both games and if all goes well could rejoin the big league club July 18 in Baltimore.
