NH Police Shoot And Injure Burglary Suspect In Concord Park

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — A burglary suspect was shot by New Hampshire police on Sunday, state Attorney General Gordon MacDonald said.

The shooting happened late Saturday night after police in Concord responded to a burglar alarm at the skate house at White Park.

MacDonald said Concord police and state troopers eventually located Dylan Stahley, 22, of Windsor, in a nearby ball field after midnight on Sunday.

He said officers shot Stahley during a confrontation in which he appeared armed. The names of the officers involved won't be released under a review is complete, MacDonald said.

Stahley suffered non-life threatening injuries and remains hospitalized, according to MacDonald. He's been charged with burglary, reckless conduct and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

It couldn't be immediately determined if Stahley has a lawyer.
