Cargo Ship Carrying Luxury Cars To Rhode Island On Fire In Atlantic Ocean

DAVISVILLE, R.I. (CBS) -- A cargo ship carrying luxury cars to Rhode Island is on fire in the north Atlantic Ocean. It was carrying Porsches and Volkswagens from Germany.

Twenty crew members were safely evacuated as flames quickly spread through the Felicity Ace on Thursday.

The fire broke out in the cargo hold of the 656-foot-long ship.

The ship is now adrift near Portugal's Azores Islands.
