Car Slams Into NH Police Cruiser
THORTON, NH (CBS) -- Police say the driver of the car was heavily medicated when she slammed into a parked cruiser.
Sgt. Victor Muzzey had stopped another vehicle on the side of I-93 in Thorton, NH, Sunday afternoon when 62-year-old Katherine Dangelo of Lincoln apparently hit his cruiser.
Police were warned about a possible erratic driver that had been weaving through traffic before the incident occurred.
Dangelo and Muzzey were both taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
Police say Dangelo was under the influence of a controlled medication at the time. She was charged with DWI and is out on bail.
