Car Crashes Into Back Of Seekonk School Bus
SEEKONK (CBS) – At least one person was seriously hurt when a car slammed into the back of a school bus in Seekonk Monday morning.
It happened around 7:45 a.m. on Fall River Avenue.
The Jaws of Life were used to rescue one person from the car, which appeared to be wedged under the back of the bus.
The male driver was taken to Rhode Island Hospital.
There were 22 children on the bus and none were seriously hurt.
They were headed to the Kevin Hurley Middle School across town.
According to Seekonk Police, some parents arrived at the scene to pick up their children.
The rest of the children were taken to school.
There's no word yet on what caused the accident.
