The 10-alarm fire broke out on Berkshire Street on Saturday, destroying several residential buildings and leaving over 100 people homeless.
Mayor Denise Simmons' office set up an online fundraising page with a goal of bringing in $500,000 to assist the people impacted by the fire.
In just three days, more than $532,000 was raised by over 7,000 people.
