BOSTON (CBS) - The Bruins' first round playoff opponent was finally determined Saturday after the final chips fell into place.

Just as it has been for years, goaltending continues to be an issue in the nation's capital. Washington allowed more goals (226) than they scored (218) this season.

What's worse is that they are down to just one healthy goalie: minor leaguer Braden Holtby. Goalies Thomas Vokoun (groin) and Michal Neuvirth (left leg) are both out with injuries and their availability for the playoffs is not known.

Alex Ovechkin led the Capitals in scoring again, finishing with 38 goals and 27 assists.

The Capitals and Bruins last played on March 29, with Washington winning 3-2 at the TD Garden.
