Brandon Browner Signs With New Orleans Saints

BOSTON (CBS) -- The Patriots' secondary is officially going to look very, very different in 2015.

Brandon Browner, who became a free agent this week when the Patriots declined his option, signed with the New Orleans Saints on Thursday.

After losing Darrelle Revis to free agency, it was widely believed the Patriots would not pursue Browner, due to an impending change in scheme.

The Saints announced the signing via Twitter.

Browner's first comments after agreeing to the deal were directed toward the Patriots and Robert Kraft.

Browner, who will turn 31 this summer, played in nine games for the Patriots in 2014, registering 25 tackles and one interception. In three playoff games, he registered one pass defensed and seven total tackles.
