BradleyJay: 'Obama's Leap Day Deal With North Korea Is A Foolish Election Ploy.'
The deal the Obama administration has made with the North Koreans in which we supply much needed food in exchange for promises regarding their nuclear efforts is clearly a fools game. North Korea has proven itself untrustworthy. It we want to give food aid to North Korea, just call it humanitarian aid. Never mind the charade of a "deal". Even then, North Korean government officials and military will get the food and the people will go without. If we really want to make a difference we should set up a Berlin Airlift style program so the people actually get the food. As least with an airlift, we get a blast of positive world press for an altruistic act.
