Eight People Injured In 6-Car Bourne Crash
BOURNE (CBS) – Eight people were injured, including three children, in a six-car Bourne crash that resulted in heavy traffic delays Monday.
The crash happened around 12:10 on Sandwich Road near Weatherdeck Road. Sandwich Road was closed in both ways, causing backups.
According to the Bourne Fire Department, one person was seriously injured and transported to a hospital in Rhode Island. The others, including the three kids and their father, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
It's unclear what caused the crash.
