Boston's Best Restaurants Open For Thanksgiving In 2012

Leave the cooking and cleaning to someone else this Thanksgiving and head out to one of Boston's best restaurants. This Nov. 22, options including brunch, dinner buffets or three-course menus to make it a memorable meal. Reserve your spot today at any of the following fantastic locations, which are sure to fill you up with turkey and all the sides, no matter what you're looking for.

The Langham has two dining options for Thanksgiving. Guests can choose to head to Cafe Fleuri or BOND at this Financial District hotel. Thanksgiving Day brunch at Cafe Fleuri is $75 per adult and $35 for children ages 5 to 12, while kids ages 4 and younger eat free. Reservations can be made for 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m., noon, 1:30 p.m. or 2 p.m. It will offer its usual brunch offerings plus turkey, whipped potatoes, stuffing and all of the classics, with pumpkin and apple pies for dessert. This kid-friendly option will also feature a balloon artist for children, and for the adults, a jazz band. At BOND, a three-course prix fixe dinner will be served for $60 per adult, with reservations from 5 p.m. through 7 p.m. Menu highlights include New England lobster stew, roasted turkey, mushrooms, cranberry sauce, potatoes, gravy and, for dessert, sugar pumpkin tart.

The Fairmont Copley Plaza is hosting a Thanksgiving Brunch buffet in the Oval Room from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for $99 for adults and $49 for children (not including tax and tip). There will be a wide range of menu selections from breakfast favorites including brioche cinnamon French toast, waffles and made-to-order omelets to lunch options like raw bar favorites and salads along with pasta dishes including lobster ravioli. It wouldn't be turkey day without turkey and beef tenderloin carving stations, and to drink, juice and coffee is available to sip alongside the decadent meal. For dessert, a buffet will offer diners seasonal tarts, pies, cheesecakes and chocolate mousse.

The Ritz-Carlton will offer an unforgettable Thanksgiving Dinner buffet. Dine with views of Boston Common and listen to live music while feasting on roast turkey and prime rib from the carving stations, with plenty of side dishes to go along with it. Enjoy fish from its seafood station as well, which will be filled with shrimp, crab claws and oysters. There will be options for children too, with kid-friendly foods and even a dessert-decorating table. Reservations may be made every half hour from noon to 3:30 p.m., with pricing at $98 per adult and $48 for children 12 and younger.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., celebrate Thanksgiving Day at Aura for $69 for adults, $24 for kids (ages 7 to 14), and free for kids 6 and younger (plus tax and gratuity). Chef Robert Tobin and pastry chef Karen Hodsdon have created a long list of choices at this family friendly restaurant. If you crave breakfast dishes, eggs benedict, French toast, cheese blintzes and various quiches will be served. Soups and salads are also available, including pumpkin chestnut soup and the star of the show: brined turkey breast with cranberry chutney. There will be traditional stuffing, veggies, and macaroni and cheese as well. Thanksgiving Dinner at Hampshire House on historic Beacon Hill runs from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy a special three-course meal with a choice of appetizer, entree and dessert. Menu offerings include heirloom pumpkin bisque with fresh ground cinnamon or roasted sweet corn and quahog chowder, followed by entrees like oven-roasted turkey with walnut stuffing, giblet gravy, Pilgrim cranberry-orange sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, butternut squash puree and string beans with vegetable julienne. Other entrée options include the oven-roasted salmon and halibut, or grilled beef tenderloin with gulf shrimp. Dessert will be pumpkin pie, apple pie, bread pudding or chocolate mousse.
