Boston Sail Celebrates Crew And Cadet Parade
BOSTON (CBS) -- More than 1,500 sailors from around the world marched in formation down Seaport Boulevard to celebrate Sail Boston on Monday.
Michael, from Watertown, and this three-year-old son were joined by many to watch the Crew and Cadet Parade.
"It's cool. [My son] likes music and we were looking for something to do today," Michael told WBZ NewsRadio. "It's just a fun event and it's a decent crowd and everyone seems to be having a good time."
Members of the Lexington Minutemen, the Downtown Boston Brass Band, the Colonial Navy Fife & Drum, and other groups gathered to march from the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion to Washington and Summer Street at noon.
Crews from over ten countries in town for Sail Boston also took part.
