Cora is joined by David Price, Brock Holt, Eduardo Rodriguez, Christian Vazquez, Sandy Leon and others.

The team took off Saturday morning and arrived around 1 p.m. A large crowd awaited their arrival, and excitedly welcomed Cora home.

Caguas Mayor William Miranda Torres was on hand when the team arrived.

During a celebration after the rally, Cora showed off his dance moves.

JetBlue will make a $1 donation to a charity of Cora's choosing for every passenger that travels on the Red Sox-themed plane during the month of November.

The Red Sox also traveled to Puerto Rico in January, bringing 10 tons of supplies in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria.

Cora has spoken throughout the season about how important it was to him to provide relief to his native Puerto Rico following the hurricane.

Back in Boston, many wished they were on the island to celebrate with Cora, especially those from Boston's Puerto Rican community.

Angel Carrasquillo has family in Puerto Rico. "I was just walking with a relative a few minutes ago and they are very excited. They are very proud of Cora lifting up Puerto Rico," he said.

Ricardo Cruz added, "He's representing the island, but he's also representing the culture at the same time...It's a dream come true and we would have never expected that. And for a Hispanic guy to come from Puerto Rico and put a team together like that as one big family, then we win the World Championship."
