Boston Public School Bus Drivers Stay On The Job

BOSTON (CBS) - Boston school buses were rolling Monday morning, despite concerns about another driver strike.

School officials urged parents over the weekend to have alternative plans in place this week in the event of another sudden walkout.

On Saturday, a group of about 100 drivers held a demonstration outside the Freeport bus yard.

Hundreds of school bus drivers surprisingly walked off the job in a labor dispute October 8, catching many families and even the mayor off guard.

The strike stranded about 33,000 students.
