Blue Line Feels Effects Of Collapsed East Boston Building

EAST BOSTON (CBS) - The MBTA announced Saturday it would be running shuttle buses from Saturday night at 8:00 p.m. through Sunday at noon time while firefighters demolish a building that collapsed Friday night.

The vacant four-story building, at 47 Chelsea Street, gave out, sending bricks tumbling into the street.

Maverick Station is right down the street from the building and it appears the tracks run either under or very close to the street.

The street had been shut down.
