Police Investigate Stabbing Of 16-Year-Old In Saugus

SAUGUS (CBS) – A 16-year-old boy was stabbed and seriously injured in Saugus Thursday afternoon. Police say he suffered multiple stab wounds and was taken to a local hospital.

It happened on Raddin Terrace just before 4 pm.

A neighbor's security camera captured the attack that happened while the victim was sitting in the passenger seat of a car. The video shows the suspect running away with a knife in his hand.

"Kid was rushed to the hospital. They ended up trying to take them there, but they had to call 911 down the way," neighbor Allen Banico said.

Police say the teenager ended up at a business in Saugus Center, bleeding and asking for help before being rushed to the hospital.

The suspect was dressed in all black and wearing a ski mask.

Police do not think this was a random attack.
