Three police officers were fatally shot and two others were wounded in a shooting Wednesday.
The officer who died responding to a gunman at UPMC Memorial Hospital in February was hit by police fire, a prosecutor said.
A gunman, armed with a handgun and carrying zip ties, went inside UPMC's ICU, and took staffers hostage before he was ultimately killed by police in a shootout, the York County DA said.
