ABERDEEN, Md. (WJZ) – Aberdeen Police say a man has been charged after stabbing his girlfriend in a domestic altercation on Saturday.

Police say at around 9 a.m, detectives responded to reports of an domestic dispute at an apartment the 300 block of Stevens Circle.

Responding officers could hear an intense verbal altercation from inside the residence. A woman opened the apartment door, holding a bloody towel. Investigators found that the woman had been in an argument with her boyfriend, 19-year old, Antony Jabez Smith. Smith had stabbed his girlfriend in the arm with a knife during the argument.
