Woman Died Of Heart Disease On Cruise Ship Out Of Baltimore
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Baltimore Medical Examiner's Office has confirmed the woman who died on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship out of the city died of natural causes, namely heart disease.
Mary Bubala reports the autopsy also reveals the woman had a cut on her forehead but believe it happened when she fell down.
More than 2,400 people were on board Royal Caribbean's Enchantment of the Seas cruise ship when the FBI reported one of those passengers dead.
The woman has been identified as Katherine Kennedy, 64, of Midlothian, Va.
Her husband reported finding her lifeless Sunday morning inside their cabin on the seventh floor.
FBI agents boarded the ship when it pulled into Baltimore Monday morning and interviewed the woman's husband, crew members, employees and some passengers.
The ship concluded its seven-night sailing in Baltimore as scheduled Monday after making port calls to Port Canaveral, Fla.; Nassau; and Coco Cay, Bahamas.
The ship is already back on its next cruise to the Bahamas.
The Enchantment of the Seas has been based out of Baltimore for the last three years.
