Woman, 49, Shot And Killed On Germantown Street
GERMANTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County police say a 49-year-old woman was shot and killed on a busy street in Germantown.
The woman was found suffering from gunshot wounds around 7:45 a.m. Saturday near a convenience store on Crystal Rock Drive. She was taken to a hospital, where she died. Police will release her name after relatives are notified.
Police say people in the area called 911 after hearing several gunshots. Detectives are hoping to speak to anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious.
