WEATHER BLOG: Warm October
A nice conclusion to the weekend as high pressure builds in from the southwest and promotes a good deal of sunshine and comfortable temperatures. A few clouds will stream across the area as the upper-level low over New England departs, but these will be largely inconsequential. Clear for Sunday night and then mostly sunny and pleasant for Monday with temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s.
Front is expected Monday night into Tuesday as high pressure over Hudson Bay noses southeastward, increasing convergence over the Northeast. This should yield a slight increase in cloud cover, but we'll maintain a dry forecast as the resulting frontal boundary should be far enough away that we wouldn't see much potential for rainfall. Temperatures will rise well above average with many locations topping out in the mid 70s!
