WEATHER BLOG: Rain Ahead
Hi Everyone!
We are on the threshold of the Ravens home opener. And after all this beautiful weather you would think we'd be a shoo-in for a great Sunday. NOT. Let's talk, because whether you are going to the stadium, or just going to a friends or a neighborhood "spot' to watch, it will be a close call on rain leaving the area.
The big dome of high pressure over us now is going to break down. That will allow a "kissing cousin" of a Nor'easter, a big Low, to move up the coast. The timing now is for a lousy Saturday and just a gray Sunday. Let's discuss Saturday.
The forecast is for intermittent rain with the steadiest rain just to our South and East..steady rain too close for comfort to be honest. (And I should point out the while we expect a coastal Low we should not see a scenario of beach erosion, etc…).
All of this info is based on the "numbers' we have now. Forecasts always refine themselves as time moves close to a specific event. But we do, just 48 hours out, think our outlook is on pretty solid ground.
Personally I am planning on a 10 A.M. dry tailgate, and a win. Let's hope for both.
Again this day, no issues, and a fine afternoon/evening. Enjoy it!
