WEATHER BLOG: Gorgeous Saturday
We are dealing with a very nice Saturday afternoon. Temps are actually in the 50s and that is very mild for this time of year considering we should be in the low 40s. Today will likely be as mild as it gets for a while because much colder air will be moving in for next week. West winds will bring cooler air to the region tonight with lows in the 20s. An area of low pressure is quickly developing the the Gulf of Mexico. It will form a coastal low tomorrow and potentially bring a few flurries and/or a snow shower to the region, mainly for areas south and east of town (S. Maryland & the lower Eastern Shore). An Arcit front will race eastward and cross our area after midnight tomorrow night. Flurries and a snow shower will be possible with the passage of this front. Behind the front, temps will really bottom out Monday and Tuesday and we likely won't even make it out of the 20s for our highs. On Monday, the wind chill will make it feel more like the single digits and the teens all day long.
