WEATHER BLOG: Going To Be Cold

This is going to be the one that sends me over the edge and packing to live forever when it never gets below 70.  Yeah, right. Sure. At least that's what my first mental image was when, this morning, it became apparent that a few inches or more of a legit snowfall is in our future at the end of the weekend.

A vigorous low moving to the coast, getting stronger, and moving by our shores may darn well drop 3 to 6 inches over a 24 hour period starting Sunday at about 5 p.m.

The further south, the better for you to see some rain mix in, but generally speaking this will be an all snow event.

So, how many of us have friends on social media, who are on vacation or wintering where it's warm who'll be shoving that down our throats early next week? Answer: Lots. How many will be un-friended? Lots.

We will deal with this storm as we move through the weekend. Let us now discuss today's wind-chill forecast. It's going to be cold. Wind chill's 22 at noon, 8 at 6 p.m., 0 at midnight, -1 at dawn, 12 Saturday at Noon.

Yep, it's winter. All the way around. Just keep repeating after me, "It's just one day closer to Spring."
