WEATHER BLOG: Dry Out

Hi Everyone!

Today we dry out. Good, because it just poured yesterday late afternoon, and night. I now it was in the forecast but WOW to see that weather in action. Ok it is all in the rear view mirror now.

Morning showers are giving way to clearing skies, and windy conditions. By tonight the wind stays a bit of a breeze, and that is a good thing. We, for the first time in a few days, are going below 32 degrees. The breeze will keep frost at bay, and continue to evaporate all these wet areas. I don't see a big re-freeze issue, but tomorrow morning be aware-if it looks slick it could easily be.  Again, though, I just don't see widespread issues.

Then here comes the weekend, and a SIGNIFIGANT warm up. Looking like the low to mid 60's Sun, Mon, and Tuesday. SIXTIES! A big league taste of Spring to end February, and start March. (I just decided to look up the record high for this day, 83-1930, so yes it is not uncommon to have that Spring hit in late Winter but it is not too common. The low to mid 60's, yep I will take it this time of the year.

March is coming in like a Lamb, will it go out like a Lion. (Per the old adage). Time will tell.
