This week a piece of childhood nostalgia is coming back, there was some good news for one of our favorite comedians, and the Daytime Emmy's went PG-13.
MTV has given every 80's baby their dream come true by bringing back the ever-popular TRL (or Total Request Live for those of us who forgot what the abbreviation stood for in the first place). The network announced this week that they are bringing back the 90's/00's classic show for one day only but with a catch.
In honor of Ariana Grande, MTV will be renaming this particular episode "Total Ariana Live" and will feature the pop vocalist alongside Sway (you read that correctly, Sway) as she performs her Billboard topper "Problem" and premieres her new single "Break Free."
Actor Tracy Morgan seems to be recovering well following a fatal car accident earlier this month. The "30 Rock" star has been transferred to an undisclosed rehabilitation center as he continues to recover from the accident that left him with a broken femur, nose, and ribs.
"He still has a long way to go," Morgan's publicist said in a statement. "He and Megan wanted to publicly express their deepest gratitude to everyone at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for the unbelievable care and attention they provided him."
For the first time ever, the Daytime Emmy's were not aired on television. The award show that honors soap operas, talk shows, children's programs and other daytime programs was streamed online.
Hosted by comedian Kathy Griffin, the award shows featured a list of no-shows and an even higher volume of profanity not usually heard at such events with "The Talk" co-host Sharon Osbourne even saying "It's not being televised! — get on with it!" before exclaiming, "I feel like I've been here for five f—-ing hours!"
The summer's biggest tour has finally started! Beyonce and Jay Z's "On The Run" Tour opened in Miami to a 43-song long set list and an epic opening film. Add new costumes designed by Versace and an appearance by Blue Ivy, and you have a history-making tour. The concert tour is scheduled to hit 21 cities, including Paris, with most cities already sold out!
WAGS, or wives and girlfriends, have taken the World Cup by storm. While many gush over the good-looking men and the outstanding soccer bodies, its hard to remember that many of them have wives and girlfriends that are equally as good-looking as their partners. Why not take a look for yourself?
