Tractor Trailer Fire Halts Traffic On Key Bridge
BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ)—Heavy traffic congestion on Wednesday after a tractor trailer when up in flames.
It happened in the Key Bridge near the Peninsula Expressway.
The Outer Loop and Inner Loop of I-695 were closed in both directions while emergency crews extinguished the blaze.
Just before 12:30 p.m. the Outer Loop reopened to motorists.
Police say the Coast Guard was called in to assist in the cleanup after a diesel spill. Police say there were no injures or danger to the community.
