Tito Beats Up Jenna!
Former UFC Champ TITO ORTIZ was arrested yesterday morning for allegedly beating up his girlfriend . . . former mattress actress JENNA JAMESON . . . at their home in Southern California.
AND it could cost his job with the UFC
Nobody's saying this will actually happen, but TITO ORTIZ could lose his job with the UFC over domestic violence allegations . . . even before any charges are filed.
UFC President DANA WHITE says, quote, "We're gonna be fair, but we could cut him. Other than going on a killing spree, being accused of domestic violence is the worst thing you can have going for you."
Details on the attack itself are scarce. Jenna reportedly told police Tito "threw her down." She was also seen later in the day wearing a sling on her right arm. She said she suffered ligament damage.
TMZ cameras got to the scene as Tito was being led into a squad car with his hands cuffed behind his back.
He denied putting his hands on Jenna, and apparently tried to be cute by telling reporters that he was only going with the cops because, quote, "I'm gonna show 'em jiu-jitsu."

They also spoke to Jenna as she was driving away from the home. She was crying, but she said both she and the one-year-old twins she had with Tito were fine. She added, quote, "Everything's OK. He's in jail."

Jenna later told the paparazzi that this was the first time Tito got physical with her . . . but it would be the last. She also said she had a restraining order against him.
But she also gave Tito at least a little bit of love. She said, quote, "Tito is a loving, sweet man, and I've always supported him through everything. And for him to lash out at me like this is shocking, and I feel completely betrayed."

HOWEVER . . . Jenna later revealed that she and Tito were going to work things out. She said Tito had already been released on bail, but she wouldn't be able to see him for a month. (--Probably because she took a restraining order out on him right after the assault.)
Not sure if this has anything to do with the assault, but Jenna announced yesterday that she was dropping her Twitter account. She Tweeted, quote, "I can't take any more abuse from ANYONE. To my sweet fans . . . thank you."
Tito and Jenna have been together since 2006.
Tito is one of the coaches on the current season of the UFC's Spike TV series, "The Ultimate Fighter", which has already been filmed. Fellow UFC light heavyweight CHUCK LIDDELL is the other coach.
Traditionally, after the season airs, the two coaches fight each other at a UFC pay-per-view.
But what we're hearing now is that in an upcoming episode, Tito has to leave the show. (--We don't know why.) He's replaced by fighter RICH FRANKLIN . . . who will now take on Liddell at UFC 115 in June.
For me, that's a better fight anyway- I've seen Tito vs. Chuck before. Franklin vs. Chck is still battle of the hasbeens, but those are two of the guys who made the UFC what it is so I'd still like to see it.
