Thursday Morning: More Fall-Like Weather

Another day, another Fall-like afternoon.

High pressure is centered across the Midwest as dry and seasonably cool conditions dominate our forecast for again.

This streak has continued for more than a week and a half and, except for the latter part of the weekend, shows little sign of letting up.

High pressure holds grip over the Mid-Atlantic as an upper level trough passes by.

The trough is currently over the Ohio Valley but approaches our area early today.

The current high will strengthen across the region tonight, creating a onshore component into early Friday. Moisture could form and cloud cover will likely increase against the mountains toward Western Maryland. Be on the lookout for patchy fog early Friday morning.

Our average high / low temps are now 77 & 57. Expect seasonably cool temps through Saturday before a gradual rise on Sunday (we could be in the low 80's). Orioles close out there homestand against the Boston Red Sox and weather should cooperate for the majority of the series.
