Thousands Of Dollars Of Gas Stolen From School Bus Parking Lot
JOPPA, Md. (WJZ) -- The search is on in Harford County for the person who stole thousands of dollars worth of gas from a school bus parking lot.
The Harford County Sheriff's Office says 2,400 gallons of diesel fuel worth $7,000 was stolen from the lot along Pulaski Highway in Joppa.
The person or persons broke the chain lock, siphoned off the gas and drove away in a truck.
The lot is leased by Harford County Public Schools and is where schools store their buses.
