Teen Killed In Car Crash On Rolling Road
CHURCHVILLE, Md. (WJZ)—A teenager is killed in a car crash less than a mile from her home.
It happened Thursday shortly before 6 a.m. at Rolling Road and Route 136 in Churchville.
State police say Elizabeth Anne Wald, 19, was trying to make a left out of her neighborhood and failed to yield to oncoming traffic.
She was hit by a Ford F-450 driven by Edwin Lewis Bowman Jr. and declared dead at the scene.
Bowman suffered minor injuries.
