Student Stabbed At Prince George's Co. School
HYATTSVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Police say a student at a Prince George's County high school has been stabbed during a fight.
Hyattsville police spokesman Sgt. Chris Purvis says the incident occurred about 1 p.m. Tuesday near the cafeteria. Purvis says two male students got into a fight and one of them stabbed the other.
Purvis says the victim was taken to a hospital and was expected to survive.
The assailant has been arrested and charged with first-degree assault.
