Showalter: Matt Wieters' Elbow 'A Little Better'
SARASOTA, Florida (WJZ) -- The Orioles have yet to update fans on Matt Wieters' condition after he left the game Saturday when he tweaked his right elbow.
According to media outlets, Manager Buck Showalter said Sunday Wieters was feeling "a little better" but did not elaborate on whether he would be playing Sunday against the Twins.
Wieters had Tommy John surgery nearly two years ago when that elbow was injured.
