Retired Prince George's County Firefighter Dies In Crash
MYERSVILLE, Md. (WJZ) -- A deadly crash claims the life of a retired Prince George's County firefighter.
Saturday morning, Fire Lieutenant Patrick Shafer's car collidered with another vehicle. It happened in Myersville, near his home in Frederick County.
Shafer became a member of the fire department in 2003 and was promoted to lieutenant back in October.
He retired due to a disability in February, 2013.
He is survived by his wife and two sons.
