Ravens Part Ways With DE Chris Canty
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Ravens just keep making moves. The Ravens confirmed that DE Chris Canty's 2016 option won't be picked up.
Canty has been a regular starter for the Ravens over the last three seasons. According to Pro Football Focus (PFF), Canty was the Ravens' fifth-best defensive player in 2015.
Earlier this morning, they also released LB Daryl Smith and with that decision, combined with Joe Flacco's restructuring, the team has found $10.775M in cap space.
