Ravens, Lamar Jackson Fans Flock To Pro Bowl; Show Purple Pride In Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. (WJZ) -- It might be cold here in Baltimore, but the Ravens are warming up in Orlando for the Pro Bowl game this weekend.

WJZ Sports Director Mark Viviano is down in Florida as 12 Ravens players and their coaching staff along with many fans paint the town purple.

"Big Truss" -- one of the many signs showing Baltimore's presence ahead of the big game.

Although the team would all rather be in Miami preparing for the Super Bowl, but they are making the most of this trip instead.

"This is like a Baltimore Pro Bowl, for sure," Ravens guard Marshal Yanda said. "The coaches and all the players. It's fun, it is what it is with the last playoff game. You just gotta move on. I feel like this is a good way to spend time with teammates and enjoy your families."

"I feel we had one of the best teams in the league this season," Jackson said. "Great guys selected for the Pro Bowl, we're enjoying it."

Fans told WJZ they wish the team was headed to the Super Bowl, but are making due in Orlando.

"I would much rather be in the Super Bowl, but this makes it so much much better, they are right here, close to me," said one Ravens fan.

"I just want to send a shoutout to all the fans that voted that got me here man, I didn't do it by myself," said Ravens linebacker Matthew Judon.

"Wish I could be at the Super Bowl, but this is worth it," said another Ravens fan.

Obviously here everyone wants to be playing in the Super Bowl," said Ravens running back Mark Ingram. "But just to be here with my teammates, my brothers, best players around the league man. To be here with our families, spend time with them."
