Ravens Fans Flock To Playoff Parties, Get 'Ravenized'
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- With the Ravens heading to the playoffs, fan excitement has swept over Baltimore.
WJZ's Tracey Leong has more from the fans.
The first Ravens Flock Party of the week kicking off Tuesday evening in Hampden.
Fans lined up for pictures with former player dressed head to toe in purple, showing that no matter what you do, you can never have enough team spirit.
Some even got the Ravens' logo tattooed on their cars lining up to pledge support for their team, the sounds of victory filling the air.
"The Ravens in the playoffs, let's go baby," one fan cheered.
Many were riding high after clinching the final AFC Wild Card spot.
"Still hoarse from Sunday yelling out there," another fan said.
Thousands of fans driving through M&T Bank Stadium for their free paint job and a chance to meet former Ravens.
"It's a whole other level," former Raven Michael McCrary said.
But his team pride never went away.
"Especially when you are going up against a rival, Pittsburgh. I don't know how much more excited you can be and intense," McCrary said. "I can't imagine how intense it's going to be."
Fans are looking forward to another win this Saturday night, making their own game day predictions.
"No mistakes. No turnovers. Have good [defense]," a fan said. "Flacco hit them."
"We are going to win, absolutely," another fan added. "All the way, Ravens all the way -- what else would we do?"
"I feel like we're going to take care of business, they beat us by 20, we beat them by 20, now it's a showdown, Pittsburgh," a fan taunts. "Don't want us? Here we come."
If you didn't have a chance to get your car decked out in purple, there's still a chance in the parking lot of the Giant Food on West 41 Street Tuesday evening.
