Police: Three Shot, Including Teen, In Northeast Baltimore

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- At least two men and a teenager were injured in a series of shootings across Northeast Baltimore late Wednesday night, according to police.

Patrol officers were initially called to the scene of a shooting reported in the 2700 block of The Alameda about 9:25 p.m. That's where they found a 21-year-old man who had been shot multiple times. He was taken to the hospital where, at last check, his condition was unknown.

Just 20 minutes later, staff at an area hospital called police after a 15-year-old boy came in with gunshot wounds to the shoulder and upper body. Police said the teen was shot in the 1800 block of East 29th Street -- less than a mile where the initial shooting occurred -- and then ran down the street, where someone picked him up and drove him to the hospital. The teen is listed in stable condition.

Before midnight, officers were called again to a hospital after a 27-year-old man came in with multiple gunshot wounds, according to police. Police said the victim was found in the 4800 block of Bowland Avenue, saying he had been shot, and was taken to the hospital for treatment. His condition is not known at this time.

Police have yet to release any suspect information in any of these shootings. Anyone with information about these cases is asked to call police at 410-396-2221. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
