Police Release Surveillance Photos Of Suspect's Vehicle In Shooting

NOTTINGHAM, Md. (WJZ) -- Baltimore County Police have released more information on a Jan. 9 shooting that left a man wounded.

A 37-year-old man was in a friend's truck in the drive thru at the Taco Bell at Belair Road and Rossville Boulevard around 1 a.m. when another vehicle behind them beeped at them when they didn't pull up far enough.

The vehicle beeped at them again once they were at the window.

The victim got out of the truck to approach the vehicle, but could not see inside due to the tinted windows.

When he approached the driver's side, the window was partially open. He began to speak to the driver, but was shot. The driver then drove off.

The vehicle was last seen traveling north-bound on Belair Road.

Police say the suspect's vehicle is a 2010 to 2016 silver Chevrolet Equinox with dark tinted windows. The vehicle has a Maryland 1812 tag, but the tag number is unknown.

The victim is expected to survive.

Anyone with information on this incident or anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident is asked to call police at 410-307-2020 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
