Police: Parkville Woman Killed In 'Targeted Crime'

PARKVILLE, Md. (WJZ) -- Foul play is suspected in the death of a 61-year-old woman whose body was found at a Parkville apartment complex early Wednesday morning, according to Baltimore County Police.

A household member found Haw Sun Kim, 61, with undisclosed injuries to her upper body at the apartments on Luddy Court just after 1:30 a.m., police said. Paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.

Police suspect the victim was targeted, saying there is no outstanding threat to the community.

Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation.
