Police: Man Kills 2 People, Himself In Shooting In Mount Airy
MOUNT AIRY, Md. (WJZ) -- Police in Carroll County are investigating a deadly double shooting in Mount Airy.
The shooting happened Thursday afternoon in the 7900 block of Bennett Branch Road.
Investigators said a man and a woman were killed and that witnesses helped lead police to the suspect at his Montgomery County home.
Police said the man killed himself after a brief standoff with officers.
Investigators believe it was targeted.
