Police: Man, 26, Dies After Northeast Baltimore Shooting

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- A 26-year-old man died after he was shot in Northeast Baltimore late Tuesday night, according to police.

Officers were called to the scene of the shooting, located in the 4200 block of Sheldon Avenue, about 10 p.m.

That's where they found the victim, identified as Kevin Lee Evens Jr., 26, of Erdman Avenue, unresponsive with at least one gunshot wound, according to police.

Paramedics rushed the victim to Johns Hopkins Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
