Police: Man, 23, 'Stable' After Northeast Baltimore Shooting

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- A 23-year-old man was hospitalized early Monday morning after someone shot him multiple times in Northeast Baltimore, authorities said.

Officers were called to the 4900 block of Shaub Avenue about 3:40 a.m. for a reported shooting, according to police. That's where they found the victim, who had multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.

He was taken to the hospital where, at last check, he was listed in stable condition.

At some point prior to the call, the victim was walking down an alley near the scene when someone confronted him and told him to "kick it out," police said. When the victim took off running, the suspect opened fire, striking him multiple times.
