Police Investigating Shooting In Downtown Silver Spring, Man Injured
SILVER SPRING, MD. (WJZ) — Police in Silver Spring are investigating after what they say does not appear to be a random shooting.
Montgomery County police officers responded to the 900 block of Ellsworth Drive in downtown Silver Spring after 911 received multiple calls for the report of a shooting at around 5:51 p.m.
A man was taken to the hospital with an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound, police said.
