Police: 2 Bank Crimes Seem To Be Linked
GLEN BURNIE, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County police say a bank robbery and attempted bank robbery in Glen Burnie appear to be related.
Police say on Thursday about 11:15 a.m., a man went into the Severn Savings Bank and passed a note announcing a robbery. He left after receiving money.
On Wednesday just before noon, a man entered the Carrollton Bank and passed a note announcing a robbery. But the man left without getting any money.
